Ashe '68
The story of US tennis champion and civil rights activist Arthur Ashe.
Ashe was the first African American tennis player to win the US and Australian Opens as well as Wimbledon; he was also an outspoken advocate for civil rights.
Executive produced by John Legend and nominated for a Sports Emmy award, Ashe ’68 uses archival footage, sand animation and 360˚ re-enactments to re-create Ashe’s historic 1968 US Open win and his burgeoning activism.
