A superstitious widow confronts her mortality after human remains are discovered at her neighbour’s house.

On the anniversary of her husband’s death, Marisol senses that the widower who lives next door has died of a broken heart. When a construction crew finds human remains at the neighbour’s house, Marisol is plunged into anxiety over her own death. A danse macabre delivered with a surreal touch, Kathy Mitrani’s supernatural short puts an impishly esoteric spin on grief, mortality and our age-old anxiety over the future.
