Beautifully shot and carefully structured, The Valley high­lights the importance of who gets to tell the story in documentary filmmaking. Through the words of the people in Omo Valley, the film develops a rare historical analysis of eco­nomic and social factors contributing to the issues of the Third World (CS) Due to the film's prior broadcast, it will not be screened at the Festival but will be considered by the competition jury.
