MIFF’s 2023 in-cinema program will run from 3 to 20 August – 18 days of premiere showcases, international features, exclusive screenings, galas and special events, panel discussions, industry events and XR experiences for cinephiles of all tastes and persuasions.
MIFF’s metro venues: ACMI, The Astor Theatre, The Capitol, Comedy Theatre, Forum Melbourne, Hoyts Melbourne Central, IMAX and Kino Cinema.
Regional screenings
11–13 and 18–20 August
Across two exciting weekends, MIFF arrives in regional cinemas throughout Victoria, bringing a curated program of some of the world’s best films.
MIFF’s regional venues: Capitol Cinema (Warrnambool), Paramount Cinemas (Echuca), Peninsula Cinemas (Rosebud), The Pivotonian Cinema (Geelong), Star Cinema (Bendigo), Sun Cinema (Bright) and Theatre Royal (Castlemaine).
Streaming across Australia
18–27 August
MIFF Play, the festival’s online streaming platform, will screen a selection of films from the 2023 program. Available nationally from 18 to 27 August, it will deliver cinematic content directly to audiences, wherever they may be located.
