Box Office Hours
This Box Office is open one (1) hour before the first screening until fifteen (15) minutes after the final screening commences.
All MIFF box offices are cashless, only EFTPOS and credit card are accepted. Cash will not be accepted.
Hoyts cinemas at Melbourne Central has 12 screens and state-of-the-art audio visual technology for the ultimate cinema experience.
Box Office
The MIFF Box Office is located on the cinema level – Level 4 – on the right side of the candy bar. Please look for the branded MIFF signage or approach a MIFF FOH staff member for assistance if required.
Food and Beverage
There is a candy bar on the cinema level located in the main foyer across from the escalators. There will also be a smaller pop-up concession stand at the entrance to Cinemas 10 and 11 to service MIFF sessions. All cinemas are licensed.

Accessibility
Hoyts cinemas and the MIFF Box Office are located on Level 4 of the Melbourne Central shopping precinct.
From the Swanston Street entrance closest to La Trobe St, take the escalators on the corner up to Level 1, then turn right and take the second escalators up to Level 2. Turn left and walk straight ahead. On your right will be another set of escalators that take you up to Level 4, the Hoyts cinema level and MIFF Box Office.
For step-free/wheelchair access, enter Melbourne Central from either the Knox Lane or Victoria Lane entrances off Swanston St towards Shot Tower Square, the central foyer space. Turn left, past Sephora, and follow the signs to the internal Melbourne Central lifts. Take the lift to Level 3. Exit the lift corridor, turn left and head towards Pancake Parlour.
The lift to Level 4 – Hoyts cinema level – is next to the Pancake Parlour entrance. Please note: this Hoyts lift is separate from the centre lift system and is only accessible from Level 3. Please call the lift and then take the lift to Level 4. Please approach a MIFF Volunteer for assistance.
There is a ramp entrance to all cinemas and wide aisles towards the seating areas.

Cinemas 3 and 7
- Entry into Hoyts 3 is via a ramp into the centre of the cinema, with stairs leading to the front and rear of the cinema. There is one (1) row of step-free seating and two (2) wheelchair-accessible spaces with four (4) companion seats in the centre of the cinema.
- Entry into Hoyts 7 is via a ramp into the centre of the cinema, with stairs leading to the front and rear of the cinema. There is one (1) row of step-free seating and four (4) wheelchair-accessible spaces with four (4) companion seats in the centre of the cinema.
- The seats in Hoyts 3 and 7 are all single non-recliner seats. Seats are fabric, have a padded armrest and a fixed cupholder.
Cinemas 10 and 11
- Entry into Hoyts 10 is via a ramp into the centre of the cinema, with stairs leading to the front and rear of the cinema. There is one row of step-free seating and four (4) wheelchair-accessible spaces with four (4) companion seats in the centre of the cinema.
- Entry into Hoyts 11 is via a ramp into the centre of the cinema, with stairs leading to the front and rear of the cinema. There is one row of seating with step-free access and four (4) wheelchair-accessible spaces with four (4) companion seats in the centre of the cinema.
- The seats in Hoyts 10 and 11 are all single non-recliner seats. Seats are synthetic leather, have a padded armrest and a fixed cupholder.

Assistive Listening: Hoyts will have Assistive Listening units for use in either Hoyts 10 or Hoyts 11 available for collection at the MIFF Box Office. Assistive Listening units will only be available for use at specific screenings.
Please refer to the How to Book Your Ticket section to book an Assistive Listening device. You may be required to leave photo ID when borrowing a device. Please approach a MIFF Front of House staff member for assistance when you arrive at the venue.
There are bathrooms available in the foyer next to the MIFF Box Office, including an accessible bathroom. There are also bathrooms next to the entrance to Hoyts 11, including an accessible bathroom.

Box Office
The MIFF Box Office is located in the foyer of Kino. There is step-free/wheelchair access from all entrances via the internal lift or via a ramp in the food court.

There is a bar serving refreshments as well as snacks and popcorn at the entrance to the Kino cinemas. All cinemas are licensed.

The MIFF Box Office is located in the foyer, past the candy bar on the left, accessible via the large escalator or for step-free/wheelchair access, via the lift from the Museum plaza.
Food and Beverage
There is a bar/candy bar on the Foyer level and Cinema level (lower level). There is step-free/wheelchair access to the Foyer level candy bar via the lift from the Museum plaza. There is no step-free access to the lower-level candy bar. The cinema is licensed.
